The location

Hotel Panorama is centrally located surrounded by some important historical monuments: in front of us along Via Cavour lies the beautiful Chiostro dello Scalzo (The Bare-foot ’s Cloister ), in Via della Dogana is the rear of the S.Marco Museum and in Via La Pira is the Giardino dei Semplici.
You can start your visit to Florence by just stepping out of the hotel!
Only a couple of blocks away are also the Accademy Gallery, Lo Spedale degli Innocenti and The Cathedral.
The hotel is also well connected with public transportation and can be easily reached by car: parking is possible at a closeby public underground area.

The building

Hotel Panorama stands in a XIX century building, constructed when Florence was renewed for its new role of capital of Italy.
It has 31 rooms (some with 3 and 4 beds), contemporary furnished , all with en suite batroom and many with air condition. Many, especially on the higher floors, have a spectacular view of the city.
At the top of the building there is a beautiful terrace, with a very original view of the Duomo. Part of this terrace is has been covered into a nice veranda where breakfast is served in the morning and where guests may enjoy incredible sunsets having a drink.

The staff

The hotel is managed By Patrizia , Cristina and Maria Seravalli.
Daughters and granndaughters of hotel owners and bar managers and raised in the hotel business, it was inevitable that they would end up running one of their own, following various experiences in very different fields of work.

Cristina, who is also a scriptwriter and animator, is to continue these professions and is finding hotel management a stimulant for writing stories. As Hotel Manager, she plans to look after the ‘departure’ side of the business, as used to happen in the distant past when the guests used to mix amongst themselves, establishing multi-cultural links and exchanges of opinions. Cristina is the blogger

Maria (or more properly Maria Grazia) is the energetic person in the team, tireless, and has learned to cope in emergency situations and dealt with a number of simultaneous requests quickly whilst working at the bar for a large multinational for a number of years. She loves and has a real passion for animals, especially dogs. Maria looks after the breakfast service.

Patrizia worked for years in the field of commercial administration, but as much as she has a fantastic head for figures she has never forgotten that she has the heart of a mother. The organisation of family services is down to her direct intervention. Knowing full well the problems faced when moving with the whole family, but also the happiness you get from a family holiday, she has tried to assist those who travel with children in tow. She deal with the administration and is our President

In addition to these specific tasks, everyone looks after both the rooms and the guests personally, with the help of Tony, receptionist and Paolo Bicchierai , night porter.

Everyone works together to guarantee you the best stay in our hotel.
