D. Lgs. n°196/2003 art. 7 – Right to access personal data and other rights
- The concerned person has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data related to him(her), even if not yet registered, including its communication in an intelligible form.
- The concerned person has the right to obtain information about:
- the origin of his/her personal data;
- how and for which purpose(s) the data is used;
- the nature of the treatment when electronic;
- the identity of the holder of the data, of the person in charge and of the assigned representative, as per article 5, comma 2;
- dthe recipients or categories of recipients whom his/her personal data can be passed on to.
- The concerned person has the right to obtain:
- the update, and, when desired, the integration of his/her personal data;
- the cancellation, the transformation into an anonymous form, or the blocking of his/her personal data treated violating the law, including any details which have been passed on even being this not necessary to fulfill the requested service;
- the declaration that the actions listed in points a) and b) of this paragraph, as well as their content, have been communicated to the parties whom the personal data have been passed on to, excluding the cases when such fulfilment is proved not to be possible or would require the use of means considered disproportionate to the protected right.
- The concerned person has the right to refuse, in whole or in part:
