The location

Hotel Panorama is centrally located surrounded by some important historical monuments: in front of us along Via Cavour lies the beautiful Chiostro dello Scalzo (The Bare-foot ’s Cloister ), in Via della Dogana is the rear of the S.Marco Museum. Only a couple of blocks away are also the Accademy Gallery and piazza SS Annunziata. The Duomo of Florence ( Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore)  is just 10 min on foot.
You can start your visit to Florence by just stepping out of the hotel!

Directions

  • By car
    Attention:     if you are using a GPS  device, consider that some data bases, specially  TomTom ones, are not correct. Point your sat nav to the corner between via Cavour and via della Dogana, or eventually use our POI files:

    Exit from the highway (Firenze sud) and  follow the directions for “centro” or “viali di circonvallazione” (the avenues that surround the centre) and get piazza della Libertà. You are allowed  to enter  the centre trough via Cavour from Piazza della Libertà. The hotel is at the third block.
    At the check in, please provide us the number of the car’s plate, in order to inform the police office and avoid any fine. Tourists that stay in hotel are allowed entering the centre and park for 30 minutes for downloading and uploading luggage.
    Parking place    : you can park the car at an underground public parking at 18 euro/24 hrs, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Also is available a garage nearby at euro 26,00, valet service and
    entrance to ZTL included. (from 7:00am to 2:00am)

  • From the main train station FIRENZE SMN

    • On foot (15 min):
      Exit the station on the left hand side and cross the street ( there is a traffic light) and keep on going on the right (passing by Mc Donald), then take the first street on the left (via Nazionale) and go ahead up to reach Piazza Indipendenza (a square with trees) . Turn on the right in via XXVII Aprile up to Piazza San marco. The hotel is behind the church of san Marco, on the corner between via della Dogana and via Cavour.
    • By bus
      You can get bus 1,6, 14, 17, 23 from the station and get off at San Marco bus stop (about 5 minutes). We are on the rear of San Marco Church, on the corner between via della Dogana and via Cavour.
  • From the  train station FIRENZE RIFREDI

    • By bus
      You can get bus 20 from the station and get off at Arazzieri  bus stop , in via Cavour (about 15  minutes). The hotel is few steps backward  on the corner between via della Dogana and via Cavour.
  • From the  train station FIRENZE CAMPO MARTE

    • By bus
      You can get bus 10 from the station and get off at Dogana  bus stop,terminus,  (about 10  minutes). The hotel is just round  the corner between via della Dogana and via Cavour.
