Signoria square

Signoria Square is the political center of the city.

Palazzo Vecchio dominates the square bounded on the right side by the Loggia dè Lanzi, where at one extreme lies the Perseus of Benvenuto Cellini and on the other the Rape of the Sabines by Giambologna.

Between the two buildings you can see the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums of the world.
